Flood and water damage cleanup on the Northeast Side

Around Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel, Beitel and Salado creeks can rise faster than anyone expects. When the water is down and it is safe to go back in, call or text us any hour.

Open 24/7 across San Antonio and Bexar County, and up I-35 and I-10 into Comal, Guadalupe and Kendall counties.

What to do right now

A few calm minutes now saves a lot later. Then hand it to us.

  1. Never drive or walk into moving water. Creek water near low-water crossings and frontage roads can rise very fast.
  2. Wait for the all-clear. Go back in only when officials say it is safe, and keep away from wet outlets and the breaker panel.
  3. Treat floodwater as contaminated. Wear gloves and boots, and keep children and pets out.
  4. Take photos of every room and the water line on the walls before anything is moved, for your records.
  5. Call or text us any hour, and we will tell you what to do next.

Beitel Creek, Salado Creek and the June 2025 flood

On June 12, 2025, more than 7 inches of rain fell in about three hours over the Beitel Creek watershed. The flash flood near Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel took lives and became the deadliest single flood day in San Antonio's history. Labor Day weekend brought more flooding on Salado Creek. Our thoughts are with the families and neighbors who lived through it.

What it showed is how quickly these creeks rise: Beitel Creek came up as much as a foot every 10 minutes that night. The region's high-water detection systems at low-water crossings are monitored around the clock, and alerts are posted on BexarFlood.org. Check them before you drive in a storm.

What happens to a house after creek flooding?

Water that comes in from a creek or a street is treated as contaminated from the start. Carpet, pad, the bottom of the drywall and the insulation behind it usually have to come out. Hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected, and the structure is dried with the house closed up, because outside air is muggy for much of the year.

We photograph every room before anything is removed and explain each decision as we go. Every flood job starts with a free inspection and an itemized estimate. See flood and storm cleanup for how the work goes.

Homes, apartments and businesses

The Northeast Side has houses, apartment communities and a lot of businesses along Loop 410. We work in all of them. For apartment buildings, one unit's water often reaches the units beside and below it, so we check the walls and ceilings around the source, not just the room that flooded.

Carpet, upholstery, rug and drapery cleaning in Northeast Side

We also clean carpet, upholstery, area rugs, drapes and tile in Northeast Side, with truck-mounted hot water extraction or low-moisture cleaning picked for what we're cleaning. Carpet is about $55 to $65 for a bedroom, or $0.55 per square foot, plus Texas sales tax.

From soaked to dry, step by step

  1. You call, we answer

Call or text any hour. We'll ask what happened, talk you through keeping everyone safe, and get a crew headed your way.

  2. We find where the water went

Moisture readings map the wet areas, including under floors and behind walls, so nothing gets missed.

  3. We pull the water out

Standing water and soaked carpet pad come out first. Whatever can't be saved is removed carefully, and we show you why.

  4. We dry it, and check every day

From about April to October the outside air here is muggy, so we dry with the house closed up: dehumidifiers and air movers, with readings each visit.

  5. Dry, documented, done

You get the readings and photos for your records, and the room back the way it should be.

Common questions

How soon after a flood can you start?

As soon as officials say the area is safe to enter. Call or text any hour; we can talk you through the first steps while we head your way.

Can flooded carpet be saved?

Usually not when the water came from a creek or the street. Carpet and pad soaked by floodwater are normally removed, and the floor underneath is cleaned and dried.

Where can I check high water before I drive?

The region monitors high-water detection systems at low-water crossings around the clock. Alerts are posted on BexarFlood.org. If water covers the road, turn around.

Do you help apartment managers?

Yes. We check the units around the source, document each one with photos and moisture readings, and dry them together.

2 AM? Still us.
